This workshop will explore Women’s Health and Alcohol Use and the determinants and influences in females. Participants will gain advanced insight in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) and understand the Diagnostic Capacity in North Carolina. We will discuss the immediate birth outcomes verses long term impacts as it relates to prenatal substance use, and will examine strategies and interventions for individuals with an FASD.
