Familia Adelante
Familia Adelante is a multi-risk prevention intervention for Latino youth ages 10-14 and their families, enhancing youth and family life skills, and reducing youth substance use. It is typically 8-10 sessions and can be offered in both in-=person and hybrid formats.

AmarTeatro Theater Program
The AmarTeatro Theater Program uses a theater-based approach to encourage Latino youth to open up about different topics in their lives that have affected their mental health and how substances like alcohol impacted their lives and people around them. It is a 15 week program serving youth ages 9-18 years old.

Unidos Together
Unidos Together is our new youth coalition formed with La Voz de la Esperanza church. It includes youth ages 10-18 from past programs and new participants from various sources. The group focuses on building trust, enhancing community protective factors, promoting mental wellness, engaging in service, exploring careers, and learning about civic engagement
Nuestra Historia
Alianza Para Una Comunidad Libre de Drogas (Alliance for a Drug Free Community) is the first and only Latino-led youth substance use prevention coalition in North Carolina.
Alianza is based in the Center for Prevention Services’ Latino Programs Department, which has provided prevention programming to Spanish-speaking populations in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1994.
Alianza’s work has been supported since 2016 by the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program.
